Plans were shifted due to the allure of the vibrant nightlife. She did not wish to abandon her original itinerary.

At 19 a career in dancing began for her at upscale gentlemen's clubs adopting the name "Tracy." More money was made by her in a weekend than what many students earned in a month. In early 2010 at age 21 entering the adult film industry was not something she engaged in. Selecting the name Tracy Lindsay was motivated by her belief that it conveyed an elegant and global appeal.
